I, Annaimalai, joined English Today at the age of 13 after a terrible experience on stage when I had to give a speech after receiving an award in Standard 6. I knew that day that I had to do something with me fear of public speaking. A few months of learning at English Today under the guidance of Ms Sue, I was able to get on stage and perform much better than expected. I only have one person to thank. Since then, I have emceed quite a number of events in high school and college, all thanks to Ms Sue, her crew and the other kids whom I had a great learning experience with for over 5 years.

Studying at English Today under Ms Sue’s tutelage has played a major role in my English education and communication. Ms Sue has always been incredibly patient with me, she ensured that her students are given the best English education possible by providing interesting and creative lessons. With English Today, I was given many opportunities to speak in public, read stories to children in book shops and attend workshops that boosted my confidence in public speaking. On a side but light hearted note, Ms Sue is the reason why I’ve always received an A for English exams.
